Live-in Caregiver / Resident Manager
Part-time Activity Staff

Full-time Live-in caregiver / Resident Manager

We have an immediate opening (as of 6/20/2008) for a qualified and experienced live-in Resident Manager in our Alicia Park location at 3621 NE 100th St. (Wedgwood in North Seattle).

Requirements:

  1. All certification for AFH work as required by WA state (First aid, CPR, Fundamentals, Nurse delegation, Food Handler's permit, Criminal background, TB test, NA-R or NA-C)
  2. NA-C preferred but not required (higher pay if you're a Certified Nursing Assistant)
  3. Dementia specialty a plus, even though we specialize in non-dementia residents we do have a dementia specialty certification & license
  4. At least 3 years experience as a resident manager or live-in caregiver
  5. Fluent English with good writing & communication skills
  6. Good care giving skills (transferring, personal hygiene, etc.)
  7. Able to prepare tasty, balanced meals
  8. Warm, personable & a positive attitude
  9. Self-motivated, reliable and able to take initiative

Part-time Activity staff

We have an immediate opening (as of 6/20/2008) for a Activity staff. This positions is Part-time at 4-8 hours per week, and serves residents at both locations.

Requirements:

  1. Be available for 3 hours, 2 days per week (preferably afternoons between 1 PM and 4 PM)
  2. Prior experience in activities and working with disabled seniors
  3. Be outgoing and have a warm personality, be kind and able to motivate others
  4. Work well independently and able to take initiative
  5. Be creative and resourceful
  6. Dementia specialty a plus, even though we specialize in non-dementia residents we do have a dementia specialty certification & license
